They are currently seeking a
highly experienced and dynamic Interim Chief Financial Strategist & Fundraising Lead to join their executive team. This role will be pivotal in driving the company's financial strategy and fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in finance, extensive experience in fundraising, and a well-established network of investors, particularly within the Swiss Lemanic region and beyond. This interim position is designed to support the CEO in achieving strategic financial goals and securing essential funding for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support the organization’s growth and long-term objectives.
Provide high-level financial analysis and advice to the CEO and executive team.
Fundraising and Investor Relations:
Lead and manage fundraising initiatives, including capital raises and grant applications.
Leverage our own extensive network to build and maintain relationships with investors, venture capitalists, and other funding sources.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and pitches to potential investors and stakeholders.
Financial Oversight:
Oversee financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure financial strategies align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
Leadership and Collaboration:
Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, providing insights and recommendations on financial matters.
Collaborate with other senior executives to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
Market and Industry Analysis:
Stay informed about market trends, financial developments, and investment opportunities.
Provide strategic insights based on market research and analysis.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a senior financial role with a strong background in fundraising and investor relations.
Extensive network of investors and funding sources, with a particular focus on the Swiss Lemanic region and broader European markets.
Exceptional financial acumen, with a deep understanding of financial modeling, analysis, and strategic planning.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence high-level stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
